Virtual Private Networking

Available to faculty, staff and students.

A virtual private network is basically a system that allows two or more private networks to be connected over a publically accessible network, such as the Internet. VPN's will allow you to connect to services that are only available through the UMSL network.

System Requirements:
Windows, Mac and Linux clients are available (see “Download the Cisco VPN client” below for current versions).
